In my Media Production class, my group and I were assigned to create an audio story composed solely of foley sounds. We decided to record the journey of a boy who goes to the woods to bury a body, gets startled and chased by a monster… until he wakes up, realizing it was all a dream.

This year my professor had us interview a Black woman that we know for a project called Daughters of Africa. The purpose of this project is to document the impact that Black women have had on American society. I chose to interview my grandmother, Claudette Bond, because of her interesting take on civil rights issues during the 1960s and 70s.
